Structure – Most people who exercise do so almost randomly, picking up little bits and pieces of knowledge from a variety of sources, and changing their exercise selection almost on a whim. Achieving a goal is very difficult if you are constantly changing the way you approach it. Use a trainer to keep you focussed on your goal, and the best way to reach it.
 
Commitment – Late night last night? Too cold to get out of bed? Just need that extra hour’s sleep? There are no excuses when you are working with a trainer. It has been well established that training with a partner results in better compliance to an exercise program. Think of a personal trainer as a training partner that won’t give up on you after three weeks.

Progression – Many people find an exercise program they like, and then stick with it. For years. Sometimes decades. Strange then, that they never seem to get the results they are looking for out of their program. To continually achieve results, you need to regularly adjust your training, gradually increasing the intensity or volume of your training. Remember: If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always had.
